Located at Assalouyeh Petrochemical Zone, southern Iran, the plant is being completed with 50% partnership of Indonesia’s Pursi .
The plant is being developed for production of 2,050 ton/day of ammonia and 3,250 ton/day of urea that would respectively reach 1 million tons of urea and 670,000 tons of ammonia annually.
Furthermore, agreements with Denmark’s Haldor Topsoe and Saipem have been reached for supplying technical savvy and licenses for production of items at Hengam Plant.
The plant will be fed by 670,000 million cubic meters of gas supplied from the supergiant South Pars gas field in Persian Gulf waters.
