BIPC Sells 4mt of Products in 9 Months

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex successfully sold 4 million tons of petrochemical products on domestic and international markets in the first 9 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 20.

 

The plant is planning to bring its total sales to 5.5 million tons by the yearend. 

The complex supplied 413,000 tons of products in the Iranian calendar month of Azar (ended Dec. 20). 

The company’s output rose by 20% in the first half of the current year in comparison with the same period last year. 

The facility supplied 2.5 million tons of salable items during the 6 months.

The company has more than doubled its export of gas condensate and has brought it to 300,000 tons valued at $270m in the year’s H1.

Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex supplies a variety of petrochemicals including pentane plus, butane, propane, propylene, different kinds of xylenes, reformate, ethylene, benzene and heavy and light density polyethylene. 

Most of the export cargoes were destined to the UK, France, Italy, Armenia, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Singapore, India, Spain, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Qatar, Japan, China, South Korea, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
