The project has been installed and designed by a team of Iranian and Chinese experts and will become officially operational within the next few days, the facility’s public relations announced on Sunday.
The unit will be a supplier of sulfate granules that will be sold on domestic and foreign markets.
Built on 110 hectares of land in the northwestern province of Urmia, the plan was launched in 1991 for production of melamine crystal, ammonium sulfate and sulfuric acid.
