Speaking during a visit to the fourth refinery of South Pars
Gas Complex, Hemmati praised the efforts of Iranian specialists and
contractors, saying reconstruction work was progressing through domestic
capabilities without the need to import equipment from abroad.
He said banks had already provided the necessary support and
that the Central Bank and the wider banking network would continue to make the
required financial assistance and funding available for the reconstruction of
the damaged facilities.
Hemmati expressed hope that accelerating reconstruction and
restoring gas production capacity would help ease the country’s gas supply
challenges in the coming months.
He also acknowledged the efforts of the governor of Bushehr
Province and the chairman of Parliament’s Energy Committee in following up on
the reconstruction process. He described the work of specialists and
professionals in the gas industry as a key factor in strengthening the
country’s economic resilience.
During his visit to Bushehr Province, Hemmati also inspected
Mobin Energy Khalij Fars, where he reviewed reconstruction progress and ongoing
operations. The complex, described as the world’s largest utilities producer,
sustained extensive damage during the Third Imposed War. More than 60 percent
of the facility has so far been rebuilt, with the work relying on domestic
capabilities.
Hemmati also visited Damavand Petrochemical Company to
review the facility’s latest operational status and measures taken to rebuild
its damaged sections.
