TEHRAN, Oct. 18 (NIPNA) – Iran’s Nabz Energy campaign has launched an energy-efficiency project at Shahid Zareh Burn Hospital in Sari, Mazandaran province, with funding of more than 400 billion rials, aiming to reduce energy waste and improve patient care.

The project is being implemented in cooperation with Mazandaran Gas Company and with the participation of Karvar Energy, NIPNA reported.

The initiative aims to improve energy efficiency, reduce resource losses and enhance hospital services, particularly for patients receiving treatment for burn injuries.

The project links energy conservation with social responsibility, using savings in gas and electricity consumption to support public-benefit initiatives in healthcare and social welfare.

Public participation in Mazandaran province has been an important driver of the campaign, which promotes more responsible household energy use. Organizers say collective changes in consumption habits can help conserve national resources while supporting projects with tangible social benefits.

Nabz Energy is encouraging residents across Mazandaran and the rest of Iran to reduce unnecessary gas and electricity consumption and join the nationwide initiative. The campaign also offers prizes to participants.

The campaign is being implemented by the National Petrochemical Company in cooperation with the National Iranian Gas Company. Residents can register through the campaign’s website, nabzenergy.ir, according to the report.
