The data,
compiled by the organization’s Research Management Department, covers the
period from May 19 to Sept. 20, 2026, and includes retail and TAL transactions
in shares and equity funds.
Trading
activity initially remained below 200 trillion rials a day after the market
reopened on May 19, but gradually strengthened, with daily transaction values
exceeding 510 trillion rials on some days in late June.
The average
daily value of retail transactions reached 233.69 trillion rials in June, the
report said.
In July,
despite continued uncertainty surrounding negotiations and the war, average
daily retail trading value rose 14.5% from June to 267.61 trillion rials.
Trading
activity accelerated further in August, when the market set a record for retail
and TAL transactions in shares and equity funds. On Aug. 10, transaction value
exceeded 660 trillion rials, lifting average daily retail trading value to
315.36 trillion rials, up 35% from June.
The upward
trend continued in September, with another record set on Sept. 16, when daily
retail transaction value approached 680 trillion rials.
Average daily
retail trading value reached 452.49 trillion rials in September, representing a
94% increase from June, according to the report.
The figures
indicate a substantial increase in trading activity since the market reopened,
although the report does not provide details on the distribution of
transactions among individual investors and institutional participants.
