The petroleum minister called on Shakeri to pursue NPC’s responsibilities with determination and make use of the capabilities of employees across Iran’s petrochemical industry.
Shakeri had previously been appointed by Paknejad as acting head of the National Petrochemical Company.
In his new role, Shakeri will oversee NPC, which is responsible for policy coordination and development of Iran’s petrochemical industry.
