Mohsen Pirhadi made the remarks after the Petroleum Ministry’s Legal
and Parliamentary Affairs Department was ranked second in a performance
evaluation of parliamentary affairs offices across government bodies.
Pirhadi said the achievement reflected the support of Petroleum
Minister Mohsen Paknejad, the efforts of ministry officials and employees, and
the cooperation of staff within the ministry’s legal and parliamentary affairs
department.
He congratulated employees across the oil industry, particularly those
working in parliamentary affairs, and thanked them for their efforts,
responsibility and commitment.
Pirhadi also expressed appreciation to the Presidential Parliamentary
Affairs Office and President Masoud Pezeshkian for supporting performance
evaluation and ranking mechanisms aimed at improving the quality of government
services.
He said the main mission of the ministry’s Legal and Parliamentary
Affairs Department was to strengthen and facilitate continuous, professional
and constructive relations between the Petroleum Ministry and the Islamic
Consultative Assembly.
“More accurate, transparent, expert-based and mutual interaction will
lead to better and faster decision-making and more effective public service
delivery,” Pirhadi said.
He stressed that cooperation between the government and parliament was
particularly important under current circumstances, adding that available
capacities should be used to address public concerns and advance national
objectives.
Pirhadi said receiving the ranking represented not an end point but a
greater responsibility to continue improving performance and enhancing services
through sustained cooperation among government institutions.
