Parliament Committee Reviews Oil Sector Developments with Minister

TEHRAN, June 8 (NIPNA) – Members of the Article 90 Commission of Iran’s Parliament met with Petroleum Minister Mohsen Paknejad to review recent developments in the country’s oil and gas sector, according to official reports.

The meeting, held on Tuesday, brought together Commission Chairman Nasrollah Pejmanfar, other commission members, the petroleum minister, and senior ministry officials to discuss current industry conditions and operational developments.

During the session, participants reviewed the latest developments in Iran’s oil and gas industry, including production and export activities. Discussions also covered the sector’s performance during a recent period of disruption and the measures taken to maintain operations.

Pejmanfar expressed appreciation for the efforts of employees across the oil industry and received updates on production and export trends from ministry officials.

Members of the commission also presented their views on issues related to the sector, while ministry representatives outlined recent developments and ongoing activities within the oil and gas industry.

The meeting formed part of Parliament’s oversight and review process regarding key developments in the country’s energy sector.
