Parliament Committee Reviews Oil Sector Developments with Minister

TEHRAN, May 29 (NIPNA) – Members of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee met with Petroleum Minister Mohsen Paknejad to review recent developments across the country’s energy sector and discuss current operational priorities.

The meeting, led by committee chairman Ebrahim Azizi, focused on the latest developments in the oil industry, including the sector’s operational status and recovery efforts following recent disruptions.

Senior executives from key energy-sector organizations attended the session, including representatives of National Iranian Oil Company, National Iranian Gas Company, National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company, and National Petrochemical Company.

According to the report, committee members exchanged views with energy-sector officials on current industry conditions and presented recommendations aimed at addressing operational challenges and supporting continued stability across the oil, gas, refining, and petrochemical sectors.
