The decision was made during the company's Annual General
Meeting, which was held early and attended by 96% of shareholders.
The dividend distribution will commence on April 19, 2024,
and will be paid to small shareholders through the SEJAM system, as previously
announced on the Codal system.
During the meeting, Mohammadreza Heidarzadeh, CEO and Vice
Chairman of the Board, presented the company's performance report for the year
1404 (ending March 20, 2026). Despite facing challenges such as a 12-day
"Ramadan War" and disruptions to water pipelines, the company
achieved record sales revenue of 681 trillion Rials, a 35% increase compared to
the previous year. This was driven by the sale of 1.097 million tons of
products.
Heidarzadeh also highlighted a significant increase in net
profit, reaching 18 trillion Rials, a 28% rise from the previous year,
surpassing the record set in 1403. The company's market capitalization also
reached 122 trillion Tomans by the end of 1404.
The company's financial statements for 1404 received an
unqualified audit opinion, which was noted as a significant achievement given
the prevailing market conditions.
Further accolades for Arya Sasol in 1404 included receiving
the Golden Statue at the 16th National Financial Management Award and
maintaining its AA long-term credit rating for the sixth consecutive year from
Paya Credit Rating Company. These achievements are seen as positive indicators
for shareholders in the upcoming year.
