NPC CEO Extends Wishes for Eid al-Fitr and Nowruz, Cites “Golden Year” for Petrochems

TEHRAN, March 19 (NIPNA) — The CEO of Iran’s National Petrochemical Company (NPC) has extended greetings for Eid al-Fitr and the Persian New Year, Nowruz, highlighting what he described as a “golden and unprecedented year” for the petrochemical sector in the outgoing Iranian year.

In a message, Hassan Abbaszadeh, who also serves as the deputy petroleum minister, paid tribute to martyrs, including a “martyred leader” and those lost in the “Ramadan War,” and honored veterans and their families.

Abbaszadeh attributed the significant advancements and upcoming achievements in the petrochemical industry to the faith, self-belief, determination, committed knowledge, and resilient efforts of the Iranian workforce.

He expressed confidence in the future of the industry and the nation, stating a commitment to leveraging all available capacities in the new year, 1405 (starting March 21, 2026).

He called for continued dedication from the petrochemical industry family to implement the guidance of the Supreme Leader and take constructive steps toward the advancement of the Islamic Republic of Iran, envisioning a year filled with blessings for the country.

The message concluded with congratulations on the advent of spring and Eid al-Fitr, wishing prosperity and well-being to all Iranians in the new year. He also expressed appreciation for the efforts of colleagues across various sectors of the oil industry.
