He added that
with measures in place, stable fuel provision continues without interruption,
but greater public cooperation is needed to overcome the challenges posed by
these attacks.
During an
on-site visit to an oil depot in Tehran that was targeted on Saturday night,
Paknejad said, "The bloodthirsty Zionist regime and the criminal American
regime have placed attacks on energy infrastructure on their agenda to put our
dear people in hardship and distress."
Despite the
previous night's assault, which damaged some fuel supply infrastructure,
Paknejad assured that stable fuel provision will continue due to adopted
measures and considered strategies. However, he acknowledged that the attacks
have created problems necessitating increased public cooperation.
The Petroleum
Minister urged the public, especially residents of Tehran, not to worry about
fuel availability. "I kindly ask our dear people, especially the residents
of Tehran, to refrain from unnecessary visits to fuel stations and to help us
manage stable fuel supply in these circumstances," he said.
