The remarks came after the commission’s Tuesday briefing with Ismail
Saghab Esfahani, deputy president and head of the organization, to hear its
program plans.
Seyed Esmaeil Hosseini, the commission’s spokesman, said the
organization’s approach centers on promoting energy conservation in households
and across industry — including major, small, and agricultural sectors — with
implementation starting in large-scale industries.
The commission emphasised that the organization’s work should be
grounded in the Seventh Development Plan, and must avoid imposing additional
costs on the public.
The plans should advance the seventh development plan goals while
simultaneously delivering energy optimization, subsidy equity, and upgrades to
equipment and productivity. Nipna reported on the briefing.
