The delegation, which included Hassan Abbaszadeh, deputy petroleum
minister and head of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), and Ebrahim
Sheikh, deputy minister of MIMT, was also joined by Ahmad Mahdavi Abhari,
secretary of the Petrochemical Employers’ Guild Association.
The visits focused on Petronad Asia Petrochemical and Nakhl Asmari
Petrochemical, where company executives provided updates on ongoing
construction and development efforts. Both projects are part of broader
initiatives aimed at completing value chains and expanding Iran’s petrochemical
production capacity.
Officials said the tours were intended to evaluate project progress,
review operational challenges, and strengthen coordination between industry and
legislative oversight bodies.
