Abbaszadeh reviewed the facility’s operations and production with
company officials and stressed the strategic importance of reviving output to
support downstream industries and enhance value creation.
“Restoring production at this industrial unit, which plays a key role
in downstream value chains, must be pursued with determination,” he said.
During his tour of various sections of the complex, Abbaszadeh commended
the staff and specialists for their efforts, noting that the facility’s
products are integral to completing the country’s petrochemical value chain and
that downstream industries have long awaited its full operation.
He added that the Ministry of Petroleum’s policies prioritize value
creation, expansion of the value chain, and improved efficiency, and that
returning Abadan Petrochemical to full production represents a major step
toward these goals.
Abbaszadeh concluded that all efforts will focus on boosting
production, removing operational barriers, and maintaining employment stability
in the region.
