BANDAR IMAM, Nov. 02 (NIPNA) – Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company (BIPC) has successfully enhanced the water quality in the cooling towers of its NF and olefin units through a project to modernize and replace RO pipeline connections between the central treatment plant and the units.

The initiative, aimed at improving operational stability and optimizing resource use, allows for reduced makeup water consumption and increased reuse of industrial water in circulation, according to the company’s public relations office.

The upgrade has resulted in decreased fouling in the cooling towers and sensitive heat exchangers, boosting the overall efficiency of the cooling systems.

Executed through close collaboration between maintenance, technical services, and operations teams, the project demonstrates Bandar Imam Petrochemical’s commitment to intelligent water management and sustainable equipment maintenance.
