Hosted by Tabriz Petrochemical Company, the two-stage competition
brought together employees, their spouses, and daughters aged 26 and above from
across the sector. Participating teams included Maroon, Jam, Tabriz, Pardis,
Zagros, Amir Kabir, Razi, Research and Technology, Pars Special Economic Energy
Zone Organization, and the National Petrochemical Company.
The contests spanned both cultural and athletic disciplines, including
volleyball, physical fitness, darts, table tennis, badminton, swimming,
shooting, and chess. The first stage featured darts, table tennis, swimming,
volleyball, shooting, and fitness, while the second stage focused on badminton
and chess.
Tabriz Petrochemical emerged with strong results, claiming first place
in swimming and third in volleyball. In badminton, the team secured second
place in the team category and shared third place individually. The chess team
also earned third place.
The closing ceremony was attended by company officials, team leaders,
and participants, with awards presented to winners across all disciplines. The
event highlighted Tabriz Petrochemical’s role in fostering a vibrant and
competitive atmosphere within Iran’s petrochemical industry.
