The award was presented at the National Industry and Mining Day
ceremony held at the Khavaran International Conference Center in Tabriz,
attended by senior national and provincial officials, including the Vice
President for Parliamentary Affairs, top Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade
officials, the Agriculture Minister, and heads of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce
and House of Industry, Mine and Trade.
Company CEO and Vice Chairman Seyed Noorollah Mirashrafi accepted the
province’s Crystal Award on behalf of Tabriz Petrochemical, the largest polymer
producer in northwest Iran with an annual capacity of 870,000 tons.
The company manufactures polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene,
ABS, and hydrocarbon by-products under licenses from leading international
firms. Its strategic location near European gateways enables exports to Europe,
the Balkans, Southeast Asia—including China—and parts of Africa.
Officials said the award reflects the firm’s efforts to enhance
product quality, boost productivity, and expand exports.
