BUSHEHR, Sept. 22 (NIPNA) – The governor of Bushehr province praised Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) for its role in a major water transfer project providing drinking water to 15 locations in Jam County, officials said Monday.

The project, which channels water from the Kosar line over 23 kilometers to serve nearly 30,000 residents, is part of ongoing efforts to improve access to clean water in the region. Officials highlighted the collaboration between the holding’s subsidiary, Pazargad Operations Company, and local authorities in executing the project.

Governor Arslan Zare emphasized the importance of corporate social responsibility in industry, noting that Pazargad has played a continuous role in supporting production and regional development, even under challenging national circumstances.

Pazargad’s management welcomed the recognition and reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable solutions for water supply and community support in southern Bushehr province, under the guidance of local authorities and the strategic oversight of the Persian Gulf Holding leadership.
