The team, which won both team and individual titles in Asian tours
between 2007 and 2010, received professional KTM bicycles in a ceremony at the
company’s headquarters, signaling a major step in reviving one of Iran’s most
successful sports teams.
Senior executives from Tabriz Petrochemical, team coaches, and
representatives from equipment sponsor V-Ride attended the event. The
partnership with V-Ride will extend beyond providing bicycles, including media
support and programs to identify and nurture new cycling talent across the
country.
The team’s renewed focus is not only on achieving sporting success but
also on fostering the next generation of cyclists in Iran. Tabriz Petrochemical
emphasized that reviving its cycling team reflects the broader potential for
industry to support sports, promote public health, and enhance Iran’s presence
in international competitions.
