TEHRAN, Sept 9 (NIPNA) – Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) and Bank Tejarat signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on financial cooperation during the 19th IranPlast International Exhibition, aiming to enhance banking services and streamline financial support for the company and its affiliates.
The MoU, signed by Mohammad Shariatmadari, CEO of PGPIC, and Hadi Akhlaghi Feyz Asar, CEO of Bank Tejarat, covers cooperation in providing rial and foreign currency facilities, issuing domestic letters of credit, securities issuance in the capital market, and other financial services.
“The implementation of this MoU represents an effective step toward accelerating financial support and backing the economic activities of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries group,” the companies said. They added that the agreement is expected to strengthen ongoing collaboration between the two institutions.
The IranPlast exhibition, which runs through Thursday, September 10, features participation from over 700 Iranian and 67 foreign companies. Of the foreign participants, 49 are direct representatives from China and India, while 18 represent countries including China, India, South Korea, Taiwan, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Turkey.
