Hassan Qatan, CEO of Al Wateen Al Arabiya Al
Mutamayiza, told NIPNA that the exhibition offered a first-hand opportunity to
evaluate the capabilities of Iranian companies and the potential of domestic
markets.
“We are negotiating with Iranian firms to
identify opportunities in the oil, petrochemical, and plastics sectors,” Qatan
said. “If product quality and pricing meet our expectations, we hope to
establish constructive cooperation with Iranian partners.”
The IranPlast exhibition, held at Tehran’s
Permanent International Fairground, runs until Thursday and showcases the
latest developments in plastics, polymers, and related industries. The event
was inaugurated by Hassan Abbaszadeh, CEO of the National Petrochemical
Company, alongside senior officials from Iran’s oil and petrochemical sectors.
