The tanks, with a combined weight of over 250 tonnes, were built by
Arak-based Azarab Industries. The project’s fixed equipment contract with
Azarab includes more than 70 items, such as process towers, pressure vessels,
double-shell heat exchangers, and shell-and-tube heat exchangers, and is
expected to save Iran more than $6 million in foreign currency.
All equipment is scheduled to arrive at the project site by the second
half of the current year.
The Gachsaran HDPE project, a top-priority initiative of Persian Gulf
Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC), has gained significant momentum
thanks to careful planning and resolution of prior operational challenges.
