Hossein Alimorad, Director of Planning and Development at NPC, stated
that the sector demonstrated high resilience during the recent hostilities,
effectively managing operations and maintaining stability across facilities.
“In the first nine hours of the war, emergency response strategies for
the petrochemical sector were devised,” Alimorad said, referring to the
military escalation that began on June 12. “We held over 14 crisis committee
meetings to resolve industry challenges and even extended support to other
national agencies.”
He emphasized that the company’s adherence to its predetermined
responsibilities allowed it to navigate the crisis efficiently, ensuring no
major disruptions to its operations or development agenda.
“The implementation of petrochemical projects is advancing in line
with the company’s strategic timetable,” he said. “NPC remains fully committed
to achieving its 1404 [2025] goals.”
