According to the company’s public relations office, Seyed
Mohammad Miri, Managing Director of Karoun Petrochemical, said isocyanate
production reached 5,309 metric tons this month — a 150% increase
compared to the same period last year.
“This milestone is the result of process optimization,
equipment upgrades, and the rigorous execution of operational plans, all of
which enabled uninterrupted production,” Miri stated. “It is a clear testament
to the dedication and extraordinary efforts of our team, alongside precise and
goal-oriented management across all levels of the company.”
Miri also highlighted the pivotal role of Persian Gulf
Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) and Arvand Petrochemical
Company in achieving the record. “The continuous supply of gaseous HCL by
Arvand Petrochemical was instrumental, and the strategic support of PGPIC was
equally vital in reaching this achievement,” he noted.
He concluded by reaffirming the company’s commitment to
sustaining its upward production trend and working to eliminate remaining
bottlenecks in pursuit of full-capacity operation.
