The initiative, called “Little Heart, Big Beat,” held its second
consultative meeting on Wednesday at the headquarters of the National
Petrochemical Company (NPC). Senior NPC officials and representatives from the Small
Hearts Charity discussed joint strategies to channel corporate social
responsibility (CSR) funds into critical care for children with cardiac
conditions.
The meeting resulted in commitments from several petrochemical holding
groups and operating firms to extend structured support to the charity. These
contributions will be coordinated through regional strategic councils in key
petrochemical hubs such as Khuzestan, Bushehr, and Makran.
According to NPC sources, several companies — including Nouri
Petrochemical, Arya Sasol, and Takht-e Jamshid Petrochemical — have already
provided financial assistance. Additional companies have since expressed
readiness to participate in the effort.
The campaign reflects a growing emphasis within Iran’s industrial sectors
on integrating humanitarian action into operational mandates, especially in
underserved regions where healthcare access remains a challenge.
