The Agricultural Support Services Company (ASSC), affiliated with the
Ministry of Agriculture Jihad, formally commended Pardis for its significant
contribution. In an official letter addressed to the CEO of Pardis
Petrochemical, the ASSC expressed appreciation for the company’s efforts in
maintaining fertilizer supply despite ongoing challenges in gas supply.
"Despite the nationwide gas imbalance, your company has
effectively collaborated in ensuring food security by supplying and
distributing urea fertilizer," the letter noted.
In 2024, Pardis faced severe operational constraints, including a 159-day
shutdown of one production phase, yet continued to fulfill and even exceed
domestic supply commitments. In February alone, it delivered 121% more than its
contractual obligation, and in March, distributed approximately 139,000 tons,
marking a 111% year-on-year increase.
During the second half of 2024, the company supplied 343,000 tons of
urea to local farmers, playing a vital role in timely input distribution and
reducing agricultural production costs.
As the country’s largest urea producer and supplier, Pardis
Petrochemical has reaffirmed its commitment to national food security and
agricultural development, a contribution now formally recognized by one of
Iran’s key agricultural organizations.
