Iran Petchem Health Council Holds Fourth Policy Meeting in Tehran

TEHRAN (NIPNA) – The fourth meeting of the Petrochemical Industry Health Policy Council was convened on Thursday, bringing together HSE directors from major petrochemical holdings, the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone Organization, and the HSE department of Assaluyeh-based petrochemical companies.

Organized by the HSE Department of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), the session was held at the Shahid Navab Safavi building in Tehran.

Opening the meeting, the head of health at NPC expressed appreciation for efforts to enhance healthcare standards across the industry. He presented a summary of key health-related initiatives carried out in 1403 (2024) and reviewed the outcomes of the Council’s third meeting.

The session continued with an outline of the NPC’s central health objectives and strategies for the current year, followed by in-depth discussions on priority health and wellness projects.

Strategic projects in the field of occupational health and industrial hygiene were reviewed with the active participation of HSE leaders from major petrochemical groups, emphasizing collaboration and shared responsibility in advancing the sector’s health agenda.
