Petrol has three petrochemical production companies in Urmia, Ilam and Lordegan and eight production projects, of which the petrochemical projects of Sadaf, Armand Lordegan and Arghavan Gostar of Ilam have made more progress than the other projects,” he said.

Regarding Urmia Petrochemical Plant, which has a diverse mix of products and in addition to exports, provides domestic needs, he added: "Polyaluminum Chloride unit was defined in the past to be implemented in Urmia Petrochemical Plant using the byproduct of hydrochloric acid in this complex, and the problem was funding that has now been resolved.”
