According to Ilam Petrochemical Company, the
CEO of the company, Hassan Najafi-Semnani, stated that the design capacity of
the HDPE unit is 40 tons per hour, saying: "Relying on the knowledge of
young engineers of Ilam Petrochemical Company, the capacity of this unit
increased to 44 tons per hour. The record has been unprecedented since the
launch of the HDPE unit in 2013.
The CEO of Ilam Petrochemical Company further
stated that the plant’s HDPE output has seen a 100% growth compared to the
year-ago average while production of propylene grade polymer has tripled in the
facility.
