Owji's decree addressed to Shahmirzaei reads:
"According to this decree, you are appointed as the CEO of the
National Petrochemical Company and the
Deputy Minister Petroleum."
Also
through the decree, Mr. Owji called on the newly-appointed NPC CEO to consider
the following top on his agenda in the new position:

Special pursuit for the
transformation and comprehensive development of the petrochemical industry with
the priority of using all available capacities and with the aim of creating
value and authority in the second step of the Islamic Revolution.

Taking effective measures in
order to develop the petrochemical value chain with the approach of meeting
domestic needs and resilience of the economy and the realization of the economy
of resilience.

Exerting efforts to optimize
and rearrange the structure and strengthening the country's petrochemical
infrastructure with the approach of increasing the regulatory role of NPC.

Special efforts to focus petrochemical strategies in cases such as increasing
financing with the priority of public participation in investment, development
of complementary and downstream industries, as well as job creation and support
of knowledge-based companies and localization and development of technology
equipment and strategic goods of petrochemical industry.
