According to Shahid Tondgouyan Petrochemical Company, the
plant launched several projects and removed production bottlenecks which
enhanced its overall output.
Production of polyethylene terephthalate chain reached
103,975 tons since March 2020.
100% of the production plan of the company was realized
in the company during the period.
Shahid Tondgouyan Petrochemical Company is the largest
producer of important and strategic polyethylene terephthalate (PET) products and
pure terephthalic acid (PTA) in the country.
As the largest and only producer of polyethylene
terephthalate chain products in the petrochemical industry, this company has an
annual production capacity of more than one million and 587 thousand tons of
various products, including various grades of PET.
