Jam Petchem Plant Yields 50 t/h of LDPE

TEHRAN (NIPNA) – The linear low-density polyethylene (LDPE) unit of Jam Petrochemical Plant is now operating at 130% of its installed capacity setting a record of 50 tons per hour in its linear LDPE output.

According to the plant’s PR office, the unit is supplying HD-52518 grade LDPE.

Ali Salimzadeh, Head of Linear LDPE Operation of this petrochemical plant, referring to this success, said: "In the year of production leap, and with the efforts and perseverance of management and specialists of the company, the plant managed to set a record of 130% productivity in the LDPE unit."

Salimzadeh stated that setting a record in petrochemical units requires continuation of production over a predetermined time.

Jam Petrochemical Plant, with careful planning and anticipation of all possibilities, increased the production of HD-52518 grade of LDPE, he said.

The head of operation of Jam Petrochemical Plant’s LDPE unit said: “Grade HD-52518 is one of the most widely used grades in the injected polymer industry and has general use in downstream industries.”

Also, with the production of this grade, in addition to meeting the domestic needs of the country, it will be exported to foreign markets, including China, he added.
