According to Jam
Petrochemical Company, Mohammad Jafar Shadkani, Head of Self-Sufficiency and Domestic
Manufacturing at Jam Petrochemical Plant, said the purpose of establishing the
unit was to prepare plans for building basic items by creating a suitable
environment inside the complex.
"Another
goal of this unit is to review the items of foreign purchasing requests in
parallel with the process of completing the list of equipment available and
used in other complexes of the country by contacting units,” he said.
The official pointed
out that among the important goals of this unit at this time of economic
conditions are the promotion of indigenous savvy, enhancing capital turnover in
the country and creation of jobs.
