During the Wednesday visit in
Behbahan, southwestern Iran, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said the facility could turn
polluting gases into the greatest national wealth.
He expressed pride at witnessing
the hard-working Iranian personnel developing the project: "Today, I
succeeded in visiting implementation of the important Bidboland project by the
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company."
“I pride myself today that men are
standing here and doing this important work with the youth of this country,” he
said.
The Iranian Parliament Speaker further
said a sincere determination and management is required for building such a
project with an annual production capacity of 14 million tons of products from
natural gas for the housing sector and downstream industries.
He said Bidboland gas refinery
turns environmental polluting gases into the greatest national wealth, and this
was not possible had it not been because of the efforts and zeal of the Iranian
