Company, the cooperation of Khuzestan Petrochemical Company Research and
Development Center with Reezmoj System Company to produce a new grade of
polycarbonate that can be used in optical industries and CD/DVD has started for
the first time in the country.”
During a visit, the CEO of Khuzestan Petrochemical Company
voiced his company’s readiness for research and development to start activities
in this regard, saying: “Achieving optical polycarbonate production technology
indicates the production of valuable technical knowledge in the country.”
Saleh Ahmadi said: “Khuzestan Petrochemical Company in
recent years has been able to make the country self-sufficient in most grades
of polycarbonate and epoxy resin by increasing its research and scientific
capacity in the field of engineering polymers.”
Among the new products produced by Khuzestan Petrochemical
Company in recent years are polycarbonate alloy with ABS, polycarbonate alloy
with glass fibers, polycarbonate alloy with PET, LED-grade polycarbonate
diffuser, red polycarbonate for use in taillights, semi-heavy solid powder resin,
heavy powder resin and super heavy powder resin, etc., he said.
