According to Iranian
Investment Petrochemical Group (Petrol), Mohsen Mahmoudi, CEO of Lordegan
Petrochemical Plant, said the first gas shipment to Urmia Petrochemical Plant with
a capacity of 21 tons was successfully loaded.
Noting that all
phases of Lordegan Petrochemical Plant had been completed and that the project was
ready to be inaugurated, he added: "Exploitation of this project has an
important role in the development of the deprived area of Lordegan in
Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province and by activating this downstream complex development
will accelerate in the region.”
Lordegan
Petrochemical Plant is built with an annual production capacity of 1.073 million
tons of urea and 677,000 tons of ammonia. The complex has been built on a land
area of 100 hectares and is one of the eight petrochemical complexes
producing urea in the country.
