According
to the company’s PR office, the head of the HSE department of the plant, Amir Hassan
Farjadnia said the volumes of bleach were produced to play a key role in
disinfecting surfaces and public places against coronavirus.
He said
the item’s production was one of the company's most important steps towards
social responsibility and public health.
“Protecting
the environment as a divine gift has always been one of the main concerns of
Karoon Petrochemical Company,” he said, adding, "Green, safe, stable and
sustainable production" is at the core of the company's strategies and is
regarded as the most important factor for determining the direction of the activities
in the plant.
