According to the public relations office
of Petrofarhang Holding Company, Kimia Pars Middle East Petrochemical Complex
with an annual production capacity of 1,650,000 tons of methanol came on stream
in Assaluyeh, southern Iran.
The project came online after four
years with more than 14 million man-hours without incident.
The complex, which is a subsidiary
of Petrofarhang Holding Company, has been implemented with an investment of 2.8
billion yuan and IRR 10,000 billion in a land area of about 8 hectares in the second
phase of the Assaluyeh Special Petrochemical Economic Zone.
