Kharazmi
Technology Development Knowledge-Based Company announced that in the year of “production
leap”, the first shipment of Iranian HDS catalyst produced on an industrial
scale was delivered to Sabalan Petrochemical Company as the first petrochemical
complex in the country that uses this Iranian catalyst.
Sabalan
Petrochemical is being developed as a methanol unit with a production capacity
of 1.6 million tons per year. The plant is being constructed on a 7-hectare
land located in the Pars Special Economic Zone (Assaluyeh), southern Iran.
The licensing and
technical knowledge of the plant has been provided by a reputable European
company.
