TEHRAN (NIPNA) – The CEO of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) said keeping track of and trying to solve the problems of downstream petrochemical industries is a necessity for ensuring the sector’s progress.

Addressing a meeting with the heads of a number of active downstream petrochemical firms, the NPC CEO reiterated the company’s support for downstream industries in line with completion of the value chain and production of end-user items.

“The ground must be paved for sustainable productivity of the sector and the operating plants must receive the maximum quality feedstock,” he said.

The NPC CEO further said that the value chain completion in the petrochemical industry is a national strategy.
