Speaking to NIPNA, Hassan Ahmadian said the petrochemical industry
of Iran could promise a growth in the country’s economy if approached developmentally
by investors.
One of the advantages of Iran is the petrochemical industry which
requires financing to become mature, he added, adding as petrochemical exports
increase, export of non-oil items would increase as well, hence generating jobs
and addressing many of the country’s problems.
Ahmadian said that in addition to the issue of investment,
exporting petrochemical products would also require more coordination within
petrochemical companies in the country.
“Petrochemical companies must close ranks in order to gain a
stronger toe-hold in international markets,” he added.
