Speaking to
NIPNA, Ezzatollah Yousefian Molla, a member of the planning and budget committee
of the parliament, said the petrochemical industry needed to be supported as it
is the most lucrative industrial sector in the country.
He said the development
of the petrochemical industry needed to be focused upon more than ever, adding that
the development of the sector could solve many of the economic issues the country
was entangled in.
The MP said downstream
industries generated jobs either directly or indirectly, adding that the petrochemical
industry was one of the channel through which the country’s revenues could be
enhanced.
“Balanced
development of the industry and completion of the value chain of the sector
have always been empathized by the administration and parliament.”
