Behzad Mohammadi said NPC functioned as a policy-making
body in the petrochemical industry of Iran, adding that guidance, support and ensuring
development of the petrochemical industry are other functions of the state-run
company.
The official further said all the developments in the petrochemical
industry of the world must be monitored in order to be able to survive in the intensely
competitive market.
He also called for qualitative growth of the sector despite
the fact that growing figures was also a positive sign in the industry.
“NPC monitors all the developments and flaws in the
industry. All the companies must seriously pursue completion of the value chain
of the industry so that they can prevent many challenges in the future.”
