Behzad
Mohammadi, during a visit to the province, said NPC was planning a new plant in
Kermanshah with the aim of completing the value chain in the region.
He
said the project would be built by private developers and with NPC’s direct
supervision, adding that the plant would be fully supplied with feedstock by
regional resources.
“The
technical know-how for constructing the plant is developed domestically,” Mohammad
added.
Construction
of the project would lead to a booming downstream industry in the province and generation
of jobs, he said.
