Padjam Polymer Project to come Online by 2021

TEHRAN (NIPNA) – Padjam Polymer Project is being developed in the southern province of Bushehr and will come on stream by 2021.

The CEO of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) paid a visit to the project, stating that a considerable amount of investment had been made in the project which was hoped to reach fruition by 2021.

Behzad Mohammadi said the project is one of the schemes planned to be part of the second leap of the petrochemical industry of Iran, adding that NPC would pursue completion of the project as planned.

“It is NPC’s duty to facilitate and support implementation of projects,” Mohammadi further said.

Also during the visit, Mohamad Reza Saeidi, the managing director of the project, said that Padjam Polymer Project is supported by NPC and would become one of the region’s largest polymer suppliers.  

Mohammadi was on a 2-day tour to southern Iran to visit ongoing petrochemical projects.
