According to the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), Meisam
Amiri, director of projects at PGPIC, said that in construction of Bidboland
Gas Refinery, PGPIC, a petrochemical holding company, would build complementary
industries in order to complete the value chain and generate more profits.
The refinery will supply feedstock for several
petrochemical plants once it operates at full tilt, Amiri said.
PGPIC is also considering several other petrochemical
projects in the country including an MEG plant as well as Songhor Petrochemical
Project which is being developed for supplying compounds and downstream
petrochemical feedstock.
