Speaking after a meeting with representatives of the Iranian
parliament’s energy committee as well executives from Khatam-al Anbya
Construction Headquarters (KACH) on Wednesday, Zangeneh told reporters that during
the meeting, the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum, the parliament’s energy
committee and KACH had stressed the necessity of cooperation for successfully
passing overcoming the sanctions.
“The main highlight of the meeting was the determination of all organs
of the Islamic establishment to integrate and tap each other’s potentialities
under the current circumstances in order to resist the sanctions,” said the
official.
During the meeting, the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum and KACH agreed
to cooperate in construction of petro-refineries in the country.
Zangeneh also said that currently Iran’s petrol production capacity
was 15 million liters beyond the country’s daily demand.
