Speaking to NIPNA, Mohammad Reza Ansari underlined the necessity of
investing fresh capital in the petrochemical industry, and added that more attention
to the sector could turn Iran into a regional and global heavyweight in the industry.
He stressed the necessity of investing in the petrochemical sector as
it wields one of the greatest relative advantages for the country, adding Iran is
currently involved in an economic war which is more demanding than a military
battle.
“All the forces need to close ranks in this war,” the official added.
Petrochemical companies must join universities and private research
centers in order to improve their efficiency and effectiveness, Ansari added.
